Meltdown

DSCN6031

Yesterday temperature readings were above 90 in much of Maine.   Today is shaping up in similar fashion. We’ll miss this in a few months.

I’d say go sit under the sprinkler, but much of Maine is under drought conditions and state officials have asked us to make careful, wise use of our water resources.

Whirligig Beetles (Family Gyrinidae) – They spend their days swimming in circles on the water’s surface.  Similarly, I spend my days running in circles – or so it seems at times.

Our little piece of heaven is drying up faster than we’ve ever seen.  Thinking of starting a muck bath business.
